Cassidy in Ireland – The Return to Canada

Dear Ireland,

You are the best thing that has ever happened to me. You have been some of the most incredible sights I’ve seen, and some of the most amazing times I’ve ever experienced. I will struggle for the rest of my life to explain your beauty to those who have never seen it. I have never met a nation more content, kind, welcoming, loud, proud, carefree, crazy, or fun all in a good way of course. The Irish have taught me how to love life at every moment of every day. They gave me a reason to always be smiling even on your darkest days. Whether it’s the constant flow of music in the streets, the sights of the glowing green hills or the peacefulness in the air, Ireland has some astonishing way of making every day exceptional.

I don’t know how you thank a country for the best four months of your life but thank you to the most beautiful country I’ve ever had the pleasure of exploring. Ireland is not just breath-taking by sight but in the atmosphere as well.

Your land is alive with adventure, and history, your skies with love and peace, and your cities with music and friendship.

Dear Friends,

What an adventure. I have never been more proud to know such incredible and inspiring people. I am so grateful to be able to call you crazy people my friends. I have learned so much from all of you both about the world and about myself and so much of that I will carry with me forever. Each and every one of you is a major part of my experience in this beautiful country and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I will keep all of you and Ireland in my heart forever. I am devastated my journey with you had to end but ecstatic I got to know such wondrous and marvelous people. I am so sorry about how corny this is!  Thank you all for accompanying me on my exploration of Ireland, myself & the world. Love always
“How lucky am I to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard”
